Introducing an entire film phenomenon into an MMORPG heralded an unprecedented success that was confirmed by the launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Although other role-playing games inspired by Star Wars had been created before, none of them posed such an open and addictive multiplayer mode.

The title doesn't force you to be part of a particular side, but allows you to choose the one that best suits you to face hundreds of enemies. As the story takes place in Star Wars: The Old Republic your experience increases making your character a true combatant capable of defeating enemies of all existing classes.

Some MMORPGs tend to relegate the plot thread to the background. It is not the case of this game that gives the story the importance it deserves to become both Jedi and Sith to defeat the powerful army by recreating scenes prior to the first film released.
